Boiden Cottage is an attractive mid terrace cottage situated in the former crofting village of Ardfarnal with accommodation comprising two bedrooms on the upper floor, one with a double bed and one with a double and two single beds. On the ground floor there is an open plan sitting room and kitchen come dining area, plus a bathroom with bath and electric shower.

Ardfarnal is conveniently situated for hill walking and there are good sandy beaches within ten minutes walk or easy access by car. It is approximately five miles by road from the main village of Craighouse.

Ardfarnal now contains only one permanently occupied house and four holiday homes. The remainder is largely derelict but very picturesque and peaceful with spectacular views.

This Cottage has recently been extended, renovated and modernised to a high standard.

To get to Jura you must go by Caledonian MacBrayne car ferry from Kennacraig on the Mull of Kintyre to the Isle of Islay(Port Askaig) and then by small car ferry to Jura. It is advisable to book your car well in advance with Caledonian MacBrayne.
