Music Festival

Jura is home of the famous Isle of Jura Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It's a lightly peated, smooth and dry malt with the secret of its taste orginating from the pure water of the Bhaille Mharghaidh spring.

While on the island a visit to the distillery is a must with tours available daily. For further information and tour times follow the link to the Isle of Jura Scotch Whisky website.

The walled garden was built at the beginning of the 19th century by the Campbell’s of Jura, designed and laid out as a typical Kitchen garden to provide the house with fruit, vegetables and flowers and run as such for many years. More recently in the last 25 years the garden has been opened up to the public and landscaped with the visitors in mind, throughout this period all aspects of the garden have been run organically.
