By Ferry

The most popular ferry crossing to Jura is via the Caledonian MacBrayne car ferry from Kennacraig on the Mull of Kintyre to the Isle of Islay(Port Askaig) and then by small car ferry to the Isle of Jura.

This service operates at least one crossing Monday - Saturday with additional crossings including Sunday during the summer months(June-Sept)

Other routes to Islay operate from Kennacraig to Port Ellen and from Oban via Colonsay. For further details on these and other Island crossings please refer to the Caledonian MacBrayne website as timetables vary depending on time of year.

It is highly recommended to book your car well in advance with Caledonian MacBrayne, as these crossings are popular.
